The Federation

About WSBF

The World Skate Ball Federation (WSBF) is the sole and exclusive international governing body for Skate Ball sports worldwide.

Skate Ball sports are all sports that involve playing games on skates on a hard surface — parquet, concrete, asphalt or any natural or synthetic hard surface — as well as their electronic and e-sports simulations.

WSBF comprises three sports branches: Skate Ball, Skate Basket and Skate Dodge Ball. The Federation is established as an association under the law of Egypt, where it has its headquarters, and is seeking recognition by the International Olympic Committee and other international sports organizations.

Neutrality and equality

WSBF rejects discrimination of any kind and remains neutral in political and religious matters. Our sports are open to everyone.

Our objectives

  • Promote and develop WSBF sports globally, for all age groups and demographics.
  • Establish and enforce uniform rules to guarantee fair competition worldwide.
  • Organize and oversee international competitions that are fair and safe.
  • Safeguard the health, safety and welfare of athletes, coaches and officials, including fair play and anti-doping.
  • Run development programs that raise the level of athletes, coaches and officials.
  • Uphold the values of the Olympic Movement and internationally recognized human rights.
  • Ensure transparent, accountable and democratic governance and sound financial management.
  • Promote facilities, education and awareness of WSBF sports around the world.

Technical Committees

Skate Ball, Skate Basket and Skate Dodge Ball committees that review and advise on the sports rules.

Athletes Committee

Gives athletes from each sport a voice in WSBF decision-making.

Elections Committee

Oversees elections to guarantee integrity, fairness and transparency.

Audit

Safeguards WSBF's financial integrity together with external auditors appointed by Congress.

WSBF Office

The executive, operational and administrative body led by the General Secretary.

Disciplinary Commission

Adjudicates disputes, disciplinary matters, appeals and integrity cases.
